    The Don-Plaza management company is a regional hospitality industry leader. The company owns the first officially certified hotel in Rostov and the region — the Don-Plaza 4*. The Don-Plaza Congress Hotel is oriented to Russian and foreign business tourists and offers a range of international classic services. More than a thousand business events and opulent celebrations held annually at the Don-Plaza, among them being events at the national level such as the State Council 2007 and EU-Russia Summit 2010, demonstrate its success.

    In 2008 the Don-Plaza purchased and rebuilt the largest hotel in Taganrog. The Taganrog Congress Hotel was the first project of the Don-Plaza company to enter the regional market of hotel and congress services. This project implementation was s serious step towards the important aim of developing the regional network and establishing a common information and business area.

    The same year the Don-Plaza invested in the construction of the first 5-star hotel in Rostov — the Hyatt Hotel — by signing a contract with Hyatt Hotels Corporation. The construction of the Hyatt Regency Don-Plaza Rostov Hotel included in the International Congress Centre will ensure the dynamic development of the company and its move to the world level.

    At the beginning of 2010 the board of directors announced a new course to establish a federal hotel chain Don-Plaza. Having attained leading positions in the hospitality industry in Rostov-on-Don, the company decided to make itself known nationwide.

    During the year the company entered the regional market with projects of hotels in Dombay and Essentuki and took control of the largest hotel in the southern capital — the “Rostov”.
